Draymond could actually be a decent analyst if he wasn't an insufferable POS person.

We get it, you hate Gobert. We get it, bud.

Draymond didn't even try to be thoughtful, insightful, objective, or even funny. Instead made it all about his petty little beef.

You're right. They'll try their brand of iso-ball like we saw against the Cavs last night. Works against the Cavs.

If you can do it the Warriors style (not this year’s Warriors obviously), go small and involve Jokic in ALL pick and roll and pick and pop plays, sacrifice defense and just outscore them via the 3, then that is still the best shot at Jokic and the Nuggets.

So while (i think) the Nuggets will beat the Celtics in the NBA Finals (and Thunder/Mavs next round) those teams are capable of stretching the floor a la the prime champ Warriors so if they do that i think they have a good shot of taking down the Nuggets and Jokic.

Nuggets have kicked it up another gear from their first 7 playoff games, and it's hard to imagine them losing, but you're right that with significant matchup changes, series dynamics can be totally different. Nuggets are clear favorites but I'd want to see how things look with Thunder/Mavs and Boston before crowning them.

Yes yes, heavy lean is on Nuggets right now (recency bias to Jokic’s GOAT performance) handling those teams on their next two series.

So yes, like you, “style makes fights” and maybe just maybe you can’t stop Jokic so you just go ahead and beat them some other way (in this case fire away from 3 40 times per game and hope for the best)

The Wolves can still make that adjustment but i don’t think they will recover from this. Dallas is capable with that style (and similar physical, active defense with Wolves) and let Luka, Kyrie cook; and obviously Thunder has those tools too and best among them, with that style, are the Celtics so it’d make an interesting NBA Finals at least.

Denver is 2-4 this season when Jokic had at least 5 personal fouls. Unfortunately most opposing centers aren't likely to get him in foul trouble.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Denver has that extra gear.

I've never seen these Celtics have that. "New team" you all say. It's not really new. Your core is the same.

Who is going to stop Jokic on any team? Denver NBA champions for the next 10 years confirmed.

Celtics in particular don't have a center that can bang with Jokic....Porzingis, 37 yo Horford, Kornet

It's like they built their roster without thinking about Jokic at all

Yeah because players who can contain/or stop Joker really grow on trees ??

Anyhow we just want to take care of our East opponents first.

Basically any C that makes him work on both ends is a good starting point.

Of course Denver should rightly be regarded as favourites in any series against Boston or anyone else.

But we are likely to be considerably fresher/well rested than the Nuggests in the finals.

Anyhow we are still a few weeks away or so away from the finals.

I think the adjustment Wolves needs to make is double Jokic. They've tried single coverage enough. Have to try something else.
