Talent acquisition's all well and good, but he's not going to fit with Blatche, and it looks like they're trying to build around Blatche. It always ends badly when you have 2 good prospects to develop, but one position to develop them with.

Last year's draft Kahn took 3 PGs. Rubio, Flynn, and Lawson. Kahn continued to deal Lawson within the division to Denver. But, of course the dumbest thing was taking 2 PGs back to back in the top 10. Why not get a wing that could possibly help the team?

Kahn will become the next Stefanski.

And Ty lawson is going to end up a better player than Flynn while Rubio won't ever play for Minessota and they will either end up trading him for nothing or he will probabkly stay in Spain.

Meanwhile he could have selected Brandon Jennings and Stephen curry who are currently the second and third best player in the draft.

Really a great way to start your career !

Beasley most likely for marijuana possession.
Blatche most likely for gun possession since he is in the same locker room as Agent Zero.

Washington also has a TPE for Jones. (**** the Jones signing)

Beasley, Cook, JJ, #18 to Washington.

Wish we could at least get something back, but hey, if we can do something useful with the capspace, I'm all for it. :D

I still don't think Riley is dumb enough to just dump Beasley, Jones 18 for pure cap space, Hes a snake, he will somehow nab some prospect or another incentive like top 5 protected in 2012 or some sht like that.

Wow if Riley pulled of: Beas+Jones for 5th pick, Miami will be Champs next year. They'll draft a good player + two Max FA + Ring chasers + some left overs for roleplayers.

Riley traded Antoine Walker for Mark Blount, Ricky Davis and a 1st round pick. He's not perfect.

And Beasley's value is trash. I wouldn't be surprised if Riley takes the capspace to try to build the team, without worrying about getting back an asset.

^Agreed. He's not going to keep dwelling on a mistake. It was a mistake, so be it. Move on and try and see what you can re-coup in the interim and see what else unfolds.

Beasley's value is low right now.

Pat Riley will not trade Beasley just for cap space. He is not a sucker, he always gets the best out of most deals he does.

Again i see something like this.

To WAS

Beasley, Jones, Cook, Mia 2010 1st 18th pick, & 1.9mil to buy out Jones.

To Mia

2011 top 3 protected 1st round pick.

Miami clears all the contracts on their team except for Mario Chalmers $854,389, & gets an extra $9 1/2 mil of cap while getting a high lotto pick in 2011 to use in trade along with theirs, & TORs.
