Pau Gasol?

You've spelt it wrong... it's Chris Caveman.

What's the deal with Gasol vs Dirk?

Dirk is clearly a better player IMO, and I say this with Gasol as my favorite power forward in the league.

I do think Gasol is better than Amare though, and could have been selected at C on the 2nd team, but that'a a different story.

Nowitzki was well deserving of making the 2nd team IMO.

I agree. Gasol is better fit for our team thanks to his unique skillset and I'm happy to have him but Dirk is clearly better player. Dirk is sometimes ridiculously underrated. To me he is TOP 6-7 PF ever. I have no problems with this years All-NBA teams.

I'll bite. Who exactly do you put ahead of him?

I have no issues whatsoever, the coaches did a nice job. I'm glad they keep the positions relatively fluid, Amare is basically a center when he's on the floor with Frye or Amundson.

I actually think Dirk is a better fit when were at full strength.

Gasol is a terrific fit, no question about it though.

Wade should not have been on the first team this year.

I suppose Nash deserved it? While the Heat sucked, collectively in the playoffs, Wade did all he could, and he led his team to a 12-1 finish for the season. This is a season award, and the fact is that the Heat finished strong, finished with a good record, they well overachieved with that squad too. I don't care about the Heat nor Wade, but the guards were placed on the right team. I also have no problem with Roy being 3rd team. Rondo has been playing spectacular in the playoffs, but people forget that Roy was clearly better during the season.
