The only thing I can think of is a lot of the kids right now are not old enough to have bought them when they were last sold in stores back in 1998 1999 2000.

The people who are old enough to have bought them are now past the age where they still wear jerseys on a regular basis so therefore most of their JORDAN 23 BULLS jerseys are sitting in a closet somewhere.

I know there was a retro JORDAN 23 BULLS rookie jersey that was sold in stores a few years ago but I never actually saw one in a store only online.

Thus applies to me. I bought a retro Jordan jersey back when was in high school. It had the cursive Chicago lettering. I'm too old to be wearing them now so it stays in my closet along with my Penny Hardaway Magic jersey, Harold Miner Heat lol and a few others.

I live in Denmark, but travel across Europe quite often.

However, a lot of those people have no knowledge of the NBA today. It's just Michael Jordan as an isolated player. They know he's the greatest ever, and so they wear it.

In Chicago, I see them fairly often. But when Im there, I spend a lot of time downtown where there's a lot of tourists. So that might be why.

I wore them in middle school. Baller status, or so I thought. I had a lot of jerseys including HS jerseys of players like Jordan, LeBron, Carmelo etc; I had a Steve Young 49ers jersey and a Barry Bonds rookie Pirates jersey.

I stopped wearing jerseys at the end of my Sophomore year of HS. I can't imagine myself wearing them anymore. All I wear now are t-shirts, jackets, hoodies ,etc.

Yeah, for some reason it would seem awkward to wear a Jordan jersey, even though he's the greatest ever. It seems as if the only person who would look normal in a Jordan jersey, is Jordan himself.

I live in Toronto. I see Jordan jerseys regularly. Just the other day I saw someone rocking the Washington Jordan jersey and his boy was rocking the home Chi-scripted jersey.

Only ever see LeBron or Kobe jerseys here. I have Josh Smith, World B. Free and Willis Reed jerseys but don't ever wear them. Kinda lame to wear basketball jerseys (unless you're actually playing or going to a game) when you're over the age of 16 imo.

You may not have noticed this, but a lot of time has passed since MJ's glory days in Chicago. When did it end? It was the '97 season i think. Even 18 year old kids today are waaay too young to remember that. They would've been about 5 years old when MJ nailed that shot against Utah.

Heck, even 21 year old kids are too young to fully appreciate MJ's multiple championships. Again, they would've been only 5 years old when MJ came out of his baseball retirement. Sure they may remember MJ's exploits with a child's memory... but that's different.

But worse is that all these kids 21 and younger have more vivid memories of MJ as a wizard than as a Bull. Those, they'd remember more clearly, because they old enough by then.

That's why we keep seeing these Kobe>MJ or LeBron>MJ threads.
