How far do the MIAMI HEAT aka "SUPER TEAM" advance in 10-11?

Post#1 » by NOODLESTYLE » Fri Jul 9, 2010 3:34 am

If the Miami Heat is able to load this roster with good role-players, then it's possible that they can win the championship. With what they currently have, I'm not sure if they get passed the Eastern Conference Finals. I think the Boston Celtics defense will figure out a way to beat them in a best of 7, if not then the Lakers will.

What do you think?

If the can get half-decent role players, I think they'll win the championship

They're going to brutalize the NBA, don't get it twisted. It's a shame, but whatever.

They can't afford Miller or Bell.

Anything less than a championship nearly every year is a failure. If they stay together 5 years and only win one title they'll be seen as a failure. They need at least 2 or 3 of the next 5.

Actually come to think about it, if they get a lot of the refs calls then I agree.

Or to Chicago and Tom Thibodeau's defense. Too bad they didn't keep Hinrich to lock down Wade.

Eliminated by the Celtics in the 2nd round.

Boston just breaks people's will. They crush hype. They even messed up Kobe, but couldn't contain Gasol.

If the Celtics can find another SG or SF to do some damage off the bench, they have the best shot, I think.

I can see them needing a year or two, once they qualify for the MLE, to flesh out the roster a bit more. But they're going to be right in the thick of it for the foreseeable future. I honestly don't see how they're not going to pull in three or four rings, at least.

3 career losers and a roster full of d-league scrubs? i'd say 2nd round at the absolute most

consider that lebron alone took a team of mo williams, varejao, and shaq to the semifinals in the east.

Wade took a team of JO and beasley to the 1st round

bosh would have taken the raptors to the playoffs if not for injuries.

together they would be in the finals, unless their supporting cast is absolute garbage (i mean of the lowest quality)

To be quite fair, Wade has a ring and he won the Finals that year basically on his own.
