Wow.. Sean Williams Released By Hapoel {WT}

Former Nets forward Sean Williams didn't last very long in the Israeli league.

Sham Sports is reporting that Williams was released by Hapoel Jerusalem before he even played a game with the club.

Sam Clancy reportedly took the roster spot of Williams.

What is wrong with that guy? I know he has an attitude problem, but jeez, being released before even playing a game... in an Israeli league?

He was a pretty decent shot blocker, but damn, his career ended even before it began.

Know some people who supposedly roomed with him for a bit they ended up getting him evicted since all he would do is smoke pot all day while laughing at a blank TV.

It's been really disappointing how his career turned out. I remember his rookie year and man did this guy get some blocks.

If he wants to be a burn out, it is his choice. Nothing wrong with that.

However, don't expect to find employment as such.

He was released because he has an ankle injury.

Thanks for the heads up Sham. Sean played for the Bucks summer league team in Vegas, didn't look too bad.

It's pretty suspicious that nobody has given him a chance in the NBA. We all saw during his rookie year that he had a lot of potential, but there's got to be more going on here than we realize (all hearsay aside).

I think the kid needs to be surrounded with strict rules and discipline, as well as some proper vet role models to keep him focused. Definitely not the case in Jersey, especially with Little Frank's crazy treatment of rookies with potential--Ie: Hassan Adams, Zoran Planninic, Marcus Williams, etc.
