Is the experiment in Miami is failing?

Post#1 » by ericchow123 » Wed Nov 10, 2010 5:38 pm

There are now talks in the news about trading Bosh and the Heat doesn't have a bench. Why did people think it was gonna be easy for the Heat? Last shots going Eddie House again, people blaming the coach too.
Ive watched the NBA since 1991 and every team that wins has a great bench, the Heat doesn't have that, how do they fix that? Do you trade Bosh?

Trade him. To Turkey.

Also, still way too early to tell if the current squad can click or not. It's barely November.

Why are people still saying the Heat don't have a bench. House, Z, Jones, Haslem have played great for the roles they're asked to do, and they're having Miller come back in 2 months. What they need is a better C, not a better bench.

Do you mean the media is talking about the Heat making a trade, or are there "sources" saying that the Heat are looking to make a trade, cause there is a HUGE difference.

Even if they flame out this year, they'll still have a decent widow to fine-tune the roster and bring in better help.

I agree that you need a better C 1st but the bench is thin man and has holes.

Yes, after going through this long season (8 games), we Heat fans have concluded it's failing and we're likely not going to make the playoffs. Is that what you wanted to hear? Okay, bye now.

It's only been 8 games. There are certain issues that seem like they potentially could turn into problems, but that team is ridiculously talented. I almost feel like their awful PG and center rotation shouldn't really be an issue because of their 3 best players.

RealGM: Where teams/players can be labeled busts before even a month of play

I'm not a Heat fan, but give them time. There's a lot of new players that need to get adjusted.

They don't have a bench dude. House and Jones are inconsistent shooters, Z is done, Haslem is okay but still not that great.

For Millsap's sake, It's been 8 fckin games!!
If they ended up losing in the first or scond round in the playoffs it would still be too early. this is at least a 6 years project with the current core (Wade-LeBron-Bosh) and a couple more years even if Wade is gone afterwards.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

The Miami Hype with their 5-3 dominance!

It's early, but lets not kid ourselves thinking this team is anything close to dominant at this point. You've gone 1-3 against teams above .500 and two of your other 4 wins are against NJ.

Yep, it's failing, cause there's no way they can go 82-0 now.

They can't even get 80.
