Wow yeah, I remember seeing this. Seeing it again makes my blood boil and I'm not even a fan of either team. Honestly, that could be up there as one of the worst calls in the history, no doubt. lmao Steve Nash isn't even touched by anyone.

Every time the lakers and blazers play BAD calls are bound to happen. Just wait for the playoffs.

When I think of the worst NBA calls of all time, Joey Crawford is always involved:

1. Marcus Camby's foul on Steve Nash from about 10 feet away
2. Joey Crawford fouls Damon Jones, then whistles the nearest defender
3. Tim Duncan gets ejected while sitting on the bench

Anyway, I thought this was about the worst single call ever, which is tough, but probably has to go to the corrupt ref who cost the Suns the 79 title, if only because of the damage it caused.

Punching someone in the face is elite defense now?

thank you

Not entirely correct, there were more consequences than the foul. Parish was banned for 1 game (and I think he was fined too).

Not correct either. The league was more lenient, but this kind of stuff was supposed to lead to an ejection, not a personal foul. As I recall it, the officiating team was punished by the league offices too. In fact, Bird was ejected in game 3 of that series for punching Laimbeer. It was when he threw that ball. Laimbeer had clotheslined him. So yeah, it was a pretty awful call. Actually, I think the refs had the chutzpah of saying that they didn't see it. Or maybe I'm confusing with some other episode.

The foul Hue Hollins called on Scottie Pippen when they were playing the Knicks in the 1994 EC Semifinals. I still remember that til this day. I think Hubert Davis was the beneficiary of that call. Turrrrible.

No doubt Crawford fouling Damon Jones and calling the foul on Chauncey:

If I recall correctly, I don't think Parish was suspended for that foul

In Game 6 of the 1992 East Finals, Jordan had the ball with about a minute and 35 seconds left and a one-point lead. He went up for a shot and missed, but the officials made one of the worst calls ever. They said that Larry Nance fouled him, and he didn't hardly touch him (watch beginning at 1:36):

#2 is definitely the worst call ever. a)He clearly was the guy to take Jones down. b)As he was taking Jones down, there was no possible way he could've seen a legit foul.
