Yeah I'm pretty sure the Celtics beat you every time this year. With or without Perk, and before/after Denver robbed you guys blind.

I would be a LOT more fun if Perk was still a Celtic.

Not fun for the Knicks when the Celtics sweep.

Honestly, I'd rather they eliminate the Heat in the first round and play the Celtics in Round 2 with even more momentum than they have now going in. I feel like the Celtics are gonna be a tougher match up but regardless they're going to have to pull a couple of 'upsets' and play more consistent defense in order to win anything... So I guess it just doesn't matter too much either way, they need to come in playing hard on both ends of the court no matter who it's against.

Knicks vs Heat would be a classic but Knicks vs Celtics could be one too.

NY vs Boston? Cmon! Did anyone else catch those Knicks vs Celtic games? NY had them... just slipped away and of course the Celtics experience helped their case.

People sleepin' on them Knicks but I say they should watch out..

Boston will take it. I like the Knicks a hell of a lot more, but Boston won't lose to NY. In terms of team build/construction, the trade hurt NY's playoff chances against well-constructed teams like Boston.

I don't think NY would have a shot against Miami either. Both teams are incredibly flawed right now, so it would come down to top-end talent vs. top-end talent, and Miami's top-end talent is clearly more talented right now.

As an NBA fan, I'd love to see NYC V MIA matchup in the first round. As a Boston fan, I don't mind either Philly/NYC.

By the way this isn't set in stone.

Knicks finish the season with Bulls/Celtics while Philly finishes Magic/Pistons. There is every chance that Philly ends the higher seed.

I believe the Knicks get the 6th seed if Philly loses to the Magic, because they would at worst finish tied and the Knicks have a better divisional record.

wait til everything plays out before saying who plays who. Miami can choke one of the next two games with Boston winning both. Sixers can win the last two games with NY losing last two games.

I think the celtics winning in 4 is about 10 times more likely than the the knicks winning the series.

Honestly, I'm hoping more for a NY/Miami series. For history's sake, mostly.
These are two teams build entirely upon their stars, whereas Boston is deeper and more experienced and should be able to handle NY in a playoff series much easier. Not to say that Miami would have problems themselves, but I believe that series would be a little more entertaining. I may be wrong but... You know the rest...

I feel sorry for Boston, the knicks vs. Miami series was destined to happen this postseason, it's bound to happen, there's nothing we can do.
