Interviewing Matt Barnes about what happened during the game would be the equivalent of interviewing Chris Bosh. Awkward, and the input isn't needed from either one.

Dallas will still find some way to choke. It's in their DNA.

God I sure hope we don't become the first team to blow a 4-0 lead.

sounds familiar. He was hurt in Orlando too, when Pierce was going off on them. seems to be hurt an awful lot when a team needs him.

Hey...come on now. Have some confidence in the Mavs. They blew a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals...they are capable of anything!

Playoff teams are constantly picking this guy up, and once they find out what the deal is, he is jettisoned. One of the most overrated role players in the NBA, IMO. Sounds like Lakers fans like him, I hear he may be re-signed.

1. Who do you hear that from?
2. He has a player option for next season.

I've seen several Lakers fans on this board say that he played well before his injury, and they hope he is signed for an extended period of time. I haven't heard/seen any official word, I'm just going off of what I've seen some LA fans post.

Hearing from Lakers fans that they want him to pick up his option or be resigned is much different from hearing that he may be resigned. Just stating there is a difference. The Laker's board is not Mitch Kupchak or the Buss family.

Personally, if he picks up his option, he's a good player for less than 2 million.

IMO this cements the fact that Phil Jackson is the most overrated coach in history- he has the guy with the blueprint to punk Dirk and the mavs, and Phil doesnt even play him.
