Poll Eastern Conference Finals: Heat vs Bulls

The series thread has no poll. We need to have this documented before hand. If mods have the ability to merge this with the series thread then please do so. :)

^LOL. I'll go Heat in 6. Bulls are good enough to win at least 2 games.

Nobody does this. There's just so many Bulls fans on this board one of us is bound to catch anything.

This is mine as well. It wouldn't surprise me if it went 7, but it would surprise me quite a bit if the Bulls won. Lots of respect to that team, but the two best wing players in the world are playing out of their minds.

As a Bulls fan, my heart says CHI in 7, & the mind saying Heat in 6/7. I voted with love.

The first regular season match-up (a 3 point road loss) was basically Wade and his scrubs versus Rose and his scrubs, seeing how everyone else was out. Not much to draw from that showdown, although it was entertaining.

The second regular season match-up (a 4 point road loss) was Bosh's infamous 1-18 game. Even a similarly pathetic 4-18 game would have yielded a Heat win, all else being equal. Since then Bosh started demanding the ball more and closer to the basket, and for the most part he's proven he deserves it. Not likely to see a meltdown of that magnitude again, not on that many attempts. Also, the defense of KG and JO was a good warm-up for Chicago.

The last regular season match-up (a 1 point home loss) came in the midst of the late-season losing streak, having just arrived back from their beat-down in San Antonio. I think that loss had more to do with just being in a mental funk at the time. But exorcising the Boston demons has left the team in a completely different place as far as all of that psychological stuff goes.

Not denying we were 0-3, but given how close it was and how much of Miami's drama (some of it self-imposed) played into it, I think we're going to see a far more competitive series. I'm making a homer pick of Miami in 6, but I won't be surprised by any outcome other than a short series (less than 6) or a series involving even one double-digit win for either team. I also wouldn't be surprised to see three combined road wins.

Chicago having home court advantage is HUGE. IF Chicago wins the first two games its a wrap.

game 1) Heat
game 2) Bulls
game 3) Bulls
game 4) Heat
game 5) Bulls
game 6) Heat
game 7) Bulls

Bulls in 7

If Bulls win game 1, then I have them in 6. No way the Heat win game 2 after being in Chicago for 5 days.

CHI has no chance, imo.

Chalmers, Wade, and LeBron are going to shut down Rose, leaving the Bulls with no offense. And the Bulls defense is going to look average at best trying to guard both LeBron and Wade.

Plus, I'm expecting Bosh to get out of his slump and have a huge series being guarded by Boozer.

I voted Heat in 4.

CHI had a nice little run and held their own at the kids table, but now they are playing with the big boys, and just dont have the personel or experience.
