There has never been a reason for LBJ to be in the conversation for GOAT. He hasn't really accomplished much of anything.

Lebron can't be Kobe or Magic.

He can't be a top 10 player.

Do you guys think we stay young forever? He will be 27 next season. He came in the NBA when he was 17. That is already 1/2 of his prime.

This is not like 1985 when Jordan came out of college, and lost to the legendary teams like Boston and Detroit.

Losing to the Magic, Mavs, Celtics has already tarnished his career.

Lebron has no chance of even being the GOAT stat-stuffer of all-time. See: Chamberlain, Wilt

Can anyone see Lebron replicating something like Wilt's 67-68 season? The year before, his coach called him out for not passing enough; so what did he do? He led the entire NBA in assists. Come on. Come on.

I can maybe, maybe see him end up in Shaq/Kobe/Duncan territory in terms of all time rankings, but it's gonna be hard for him to really prove himself if he stays on the Heat in a 1a/1b situation with Wade. I can't see him ever ranking up there with the likes of Jordan and Kareem, just doesn't have the offensive and defensive impact on games, and clearly he's been basically the anti-Jordan in terms of coming up big when his team needs him most in his toughest playoff series.

i think you can say Lebron will be one of the greatest all around players but to be the GOAT...nope Lebron is great at all a lot of things but not excellent at one particular aspect of his game which is kinda sad in a way

Can he become the GOAT? Probably not.

Will he become a bad contract for the Heat? Probably yes.
