I would say no, his pivot is planted until he made a move to the basket.

No more a travel than half of Hakeem's moves lol. Flashy enough to get away with.

This isn't even debatable. He takes a step after establishing his left as the pivot foot.

It's a move to the basket... EVERYONE does that with their pivot foot when there making a move to the basket. I don't see how this is not debatable

That is obviously a travel, but I doubt it'd ever be called.

Travel, not at all debatable, and this one is usually called. You can't establish a pivot foot and then take a step into another one. Gotta jump off two feet there.

he establishes his left foot as pivot foot w/ his back to the basket spinning baseline, then spin back to the paint, leaves his pivot foot, and jumps off his right foot. If its not traveling then **** all the rules I guess, just do whatever you want out there

Unless he replants his original pivot foot, which in this case is his left, it isn't a travel.
Lol, this move is often taught in youth practices as well.

honestly that move looks too sick to be called a travel, even though it clearly is

Kobe does that move all the time, there's even a signature moves video on YouTube where he explains it. Apparently its not a travel.

explain how it's not.
like someone already said, if he kept his pivot foot down and jumped off of 2 feet it would not have been a travel.

i read how they describe the rule, you must be right because this is how the rule is listed:

If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor
