why owners want to prevent super teams if there alrdy is 1?
i don't get this flawed logic being used that the NBA needs to immediately do what it takes to prevent such thing from happening in the near future. if anything, this is doing nothing but helping miami by making their competition easier. there is nothing to talk about. it's too late. would u rather have 1 super team and 30 standard teams or 2 super teams and 29 standard teams. umm easy choice to me

It's not about bringing in more competition at the top. Most owners don't care if the Knicks can be competitive with the Heat. They just don't want to lose their own star players that they draft. Most teams know that they are not going to compete for a championship any time soon, and selling a perennial loser to fans is more difficult without a star player.
