That's 200 less technicals next year.

Javie was actually good at making the calls, he just had a reaaaal short temper.

I always thought Javie called a good game. Definitely one of the better refs.

No where near the Bavetta or Joey Crawford level of "people paid to see me blow my whistle" crap.

Although Javie is a lot better than Dick, Bennet Salvatore, etc. Saying he was the best ref in the league is really not saying much.

same here, he always had the look of an ass hole and always looked pissed off but he was one of if not the best refs around. definitely beats the hell outta either crawfords or salvatore

Riley is smiling somewhere. I can't believe he didn't get suspended for at least a season after the comments he made to Riley. That was some suspect **** right there.

Javie was a good ref, I thought. Maybe too much personality, but he did his job well? Now we're left just with refs that all run together, that nobody knows... and crappy ones like Joey Crawford, who are all the senior refs. Get ready for worse officiating.
