ANTOINE WALKER IS BACK (in the D-League)!.

You have to give it up for Antoine his dedication to his craft is unparalleled. This man is still going to be shooting four-point shots while on his deathbed. #LegendStatus.

BOISE, Idaho, October 27, 2011 - The Idaho Stampede has announced three-time NBA All-Star Antoine Walker has signed with the NBA Development League and will report to training camp with the Idaho Stampede, which begins November 14.

Walker (6-9, 245, Kentucky) played 43 games (39 starts) with the Stampede in 2010-11, averaging 16.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 33.4 minutes per game. Walker had four double-doubles on the season, all coming in the last six games of the year. Walker scored a season-high 29 points at Dakota on Jan. 16 and grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds on March 26 at Austin.

“I can’t wait to get back to Boise,” Walker said. “It’s a great place to live and I’m hoping I can help this team make the playoffs and win a championship – we’ve got some unfinished business to tend to.”

I can't hate. Guy had a solid NBA career and made a lot of money. He's just playing for the joy of it at this point.

There were rumors of financial problems for Walker, but I still have a new respect for my least favorite player of all-time.

NBA champions Antoine Walker... doesn't sound right... but he was the 3rd best player on that Heat team.

It reminds me of a Disney movie kinda.

Selfish douche discovers himself playing for the Idaho Stampede. A nice chick tells him off at some point and then gets with him after he changes. His gambling friends show up during the playoffs and he resists the temptation. Ernest P. Worrell gives him an approving nod while Fatoine holds the MVP trophy, which he shares with the team even though it is an individual award.

I'm going with Alonzo Mourning in 12 minutes per game as the third leg.

You know what, I've never been a fan, but at least he's playing and doing it reasonably well.

I would seriously watch this movie. For comedy reasons, obviously, but still. :D On a sidenote, i don't understand why Walker doesn't come to Europe to play. I don't see any NBA team giving him a chance. On the other hand, in Europe, he could make a nice living again, maybe he could even attract some crowd. :D

As a Celtics fan, I'd take him right now over Big Baby. Seriously, Antoine might be old, but I'd still rather have him playing instead of Big Baby, because Antoine realizes that this is it and he would just do what he can, while Baby thinks he's the second coming and shoots every time he gets the ball.

Glad to see he's still playing, I got the chance to see him play in Portland, ME last year against the Red Claws and he actually looked decent.
