The quote isn't even about Kobe really. it's about who Shaq thinks should have been given the Laker's coaching job.

Yeah, I don't see any problem with this. It's Shaq, he is what he is.

Shaq always like Shaw, and Laker fans loved him. Good role player, always seemed to hit a big shot at the exact right moment.

I feel like Shaqs book should be a picture book

One has to wonder if Jerry is doing this knowing full well that Jim will fail (gotta give the son a chance), only to eventually give the reigns to Jeannie (after a few disastrous seasons) who is much better equipped to do the job.

He has a master's degree. Shaq acts stupid for entertainment purposes.

Working on his doctorate, too.

I wouldn't call it stupid. He just likes mucking around or having fun.

What is Shaq saying that we dont already know? Kobe is a dick. Mike Brown is a puppet coach. The hell you say!

Get off the man's case. He can say what he wants.

Eh, I would need to see proof that Shaq is actually intelligent before I view him as such.
I have been a Shaq fan since I started following basketball in the 90's, but the Big Aristotle has shown by the things he says in seriousness that he is NOT the sharpest crayon in the box. He may have a degree from a school, but it is easy to write papers when you can hire your own editing team (NOT SAYING HE DID THIS, JUST THAT HE COULD). Again, I do not know how smart/dumb Shaq is, but all the degrees in the world won't really persuade me, I need to see him use the knowledge gained before I buy him as an intellectual.

I am scared of him as a commentator because I feel like he will hurt my image of him. I was talking to someone the other day about Charles Barkley, and the kid asked said "He played basketball? I thought he was an actor."

I am not surprised Shaq wrote a book, just like I am not surprised Phil Jackson did so. If anything, Phils caught me off guard because it was his job to reduce the drama, not build it.

Every time Kobe comes up in a book, he comes out and wins. If I have a top 6 fantasy pick, I am making a move for Mamba (should there be a season)

Additionally, do you all think Shaq is REALLY done? He can sit out half a remaining season, get "in shape" and start playing in March

"round" is a shape, and that's about the shape I expect Shaq will be in by March.
