Denver Nuggets: The most fun team to watch

Post#1 » by GnarlesOakley » Thu Dec 29, 2011 4:16 am

Their offensive depth is such ridiculous. None of their scorers are reliable enough to be go to guys and that might hurt them later on but their starters all compliment each other and they have a good bench, allowing them to run all day.

Until lob city figures things out I can't see any team produce as many highlight reel plays as these guys, especially as a team as opposed to one or two individuals.

It's hilarious how much better that team is without Melo.

I like the Thunder and all but watching Westbrook is painful.

That title belongs to the Heat of course. /bias

Both of these highlights are from tonight's game btw. Posted for entertainment.

I like watching Brandon Bass being tossed the ball 20 ft out, faking, dribbling 5 ft, retreating 10, than jacking up a 25 footer at the buzzer

But more seriously I like watching the Thunder the most actually

heat - great players, boring style of play

nuggets - good players, great style of play

nuggets attack with 10 different guys all game long.
great defensive length with gallo/nene/moz, lots of deflections that lead to chaos, perimeter guys all shoot (except dre) exceptionally well, ty's easily the fastest guy in the league...both end to end and with acceleration. everyone's unselfish and makes the extra pass. harrington's in great shape and it shows, and this style is far better suited for dre/ferandez than portland was.

it really is special to watch when they get rolling.

Everyone's going to say their team is the most fun team to watch probably. Denver's probably somewhere in the top 5 though, I imagine.

he reminds me of the guy that's always trying to 1 up everybody else in a conversation.

but yes, it'll be fun watching others eat their words at the end of the season.

Man Nene maybe the most underrated player in the league.

What he did in 23 minutes against a supposedly awesome albeit younger front court tonight should be considered criminal.

Don't get me wrong, Utah is going to be god awful this year, but that was still quite impressive.

I may have been a little too tough on the Nuggets this offseason, although I gave the disclaimer if Gallo and/or Lawson blew up this year they would be pretty good.

They really are pretty fun to watch. Probably the most decisive passing team in the league. Not a lot of ball pounding.

That's a good way to put it.

With Heat games, you're kind of guaranteed to see 2-3 big highlights

But you have to appreciate and enjoy the way Denver plays as a team.

Love it, keep the D-Town love rolling guys. 8-)

They might be the most unselfish club in the league right now. I hope they keep this experiment alive and don't start trading their assets for centerpieces. It's awesome to watch.

Very impressive so far, though Dallas clearly doesn't have it together yet and Utah on the 2nd night of a back to back against *this* team was a very easy win to see, there's a reason Vegas favored Denver by -1100 on the moneyline tonight

Denver and Portland will both be top 4-5 in the West IMO

I don't know if I can be excited to watch the Nuggets without JR Smif. He was the best part of that team.
