How good are Wall/Sixers if he was drafted by them?

Post#1 » by ecnirp » Fri Feb 24, 2012 4:55 pm

I really believe Wall would be a better player if he was around the Sixers environment. Better coach, better organization, quality teammates like Brand and Iggy. No knuckleheads.

Now would that translate to more wins? Idk. A Wall/Holiday backcourt would be very intriguing to see though. Kind of like a poor mans "Zeke/Dumars" (At least thats what you would hope for in the future...them being that good at least)

Would Wall be a better player with the Sixers? Would the Sixers be as good or better?

Or is Wall's flaws so bad that the Sixers would be worse and his game would be the same as he is on the Wizards.

Well I'm definitely a sixer fan who wanted Wall above the other rookies. Heck, I would rather the sixers have taken favors or Cousins over Turner. Turner has been very underwhelming, he's a solid player but not much potential in my opinion. I think Wall could have been that star that the sixers badly need and the sixers are the team to give Wall that winning, play-the-right-way mentality.

Yep. Say what you want about Wall/Cousins. But at least they have that "potential" to be a star down the road.

Im really impressed with the Sixers. And they would be serious threats imo a lot sooner if they had a budding star from that draft. Or if Turner turned out to be that kind of star.

Monroe or Cousins would've been a better player for Philly than Wall. Put Monroe or Cousins with Igoudala & Holiday and they have a very good young core to build around... plus a pretty solid young supporting cast with Thad, Lou Williams, and Meeks.

Cousins in that situation would have been perfect.
