biggest "blackhole" in the league?

Post#1 » by lovethewire » Sat Mar 3, 2012 7:31 am

What guy never passes unless he absolutely has to? My vote, Andrew bynum, it might possibly be because once he kicks out to Kobe he'll never get it back but that guy can be triple teamed and he still won't pass

Al Jefferson has gotten better at passing out of the post, and has increased his assists per game by almost 1 compared to his career, but he is still one of the worst black hole players in the league. Add that to the fact that he shoots a bad percentage and an astonishingly low amount of FTs (as his post game is tailored to avoid contact), and Jazz fans are left with an empty feeling many times when he gets the ball.

CJ Miles, Nick Young, JR Smith, Marcus Thornton and Andray Blatche all deserve honorable mentions. I'd say Kevin Martin is up there too, but at least he has been efficient (not as much this season).

They are dead last in assists per game and no one is even close to them.

That's funny that you say that because Kobe usually passes back into the bigs after they re-post. People need to start watching games before coming to such conclusions. Also Bynum has gotten better at passing from double/triple teams. It's a learning process

Drew's actually improved his passing out of double teams as this season has progressed. Tonight alone he had a couple nice drop off passes to cutters that led to free throws. Gotta remember until this year he didn't see doubles on a regular basis.

I'd say Nick Young, averages 1.1 APG in 30.6 minutes.

My guess would be Eddy Curry has the Leagues biggest black hole.

This thread was made for Javale McGee, Nick Young and Jordan Crawford. All 3 completely stop any ball rotation.

Tayshaun Prince. Some of the local media even coined the phrase the "Isolayshaun" offense because he's such a ball hog.

Is Cousins a great passer? Yes. Is he the biggest black hole in the league? Hell yes. He won't pass for s***.

I cannot even argue with it

Our team is mess

I only don't agree about Demarcus though. He is a very good passer.

To me it's Al Jefferson.

His game never translates do wins. The dude is the only starting Center in the NBA that can't play defense, he is lazy boxing out, misses rotations all the time and he only gets a pass for all his flaws because he can give you 20+ points per game, even though his efficiency is very poor , (50%TS)

He is the classic black-hole

Kevin Love. He sucks up all the rebounds like a blackhole.

Good passer and willing passer are two different things. He can pass but he is averaging 1apg with over 16 TS shots a game. Doesn't sound like a non black hole to me.
