Take him for what he is -- a controversial sports journalist. There's no point in getting bent out of shape about it.

it feels like he is trolling more than anything else at times. Just stating crap and hoping it sticks because it is his schtick.

anyway, Lebron has been slowing down as of late. I think its because of the grind of the season and how much the Heat ask him to do on a nightly basis, but some criticism is deserved I guess.

Why is LeBron a totally different player when Wade is out? 16 needed 4th qtr points against a desperate playoff team last night.

He played a young, struggling Philadelphia team without their best player, on the road. He was great in the first half cutting to the basket and killing in transition, cooled off a bit in the third, Philadelphia made a run and closed the lead, Iggy goes out, LeBron explodes. Evan Turner can't defend the PnR the same way Iggy can, so LeBron went to the PnR in the 4th. Killing Turner and Spencer Hawes.

You can't take anything away from that game. Wade was out, allowing LeBron to pound the ball a lot more than usual, and he played a bad Sixers squad. We'll be able to take a lot more from tonight's game; A national televised game of importance against a competent opponent who Miami is also competing against for HCA. These are the type of games where LeBron needs to flourish and prove his dominance over the pack. Not padding stats in irrelevant games against sub par competition. We know he dominates in such games. That's never been in question.

Philly is one game out of the 4 seed. LeBron went 15/25 and scored 41. And the game was CLOSE with a few minutes to go. I don't know what "statpadding" you are referring to. Lets not compare this to a game against the Bobcats.

Is Wade playing tonight?

In realty, they're the 7th seed, two and a half games in front of the Knicks, and are 4-6 in their last 10 games.

LeBron went 15/25 and scored 41. And the game was CLOSE with a few minutes to go.

That was the most disturbing part.

Philly without Iggy essentially is the Bobcats.

Is Wade playing tonight?

Won't know till just before the game. I suspect not though, but I figure the Heat are trying to keep it under wraps to keep the OKC staff guessing.

He plays totally different. Much more aggressive/confident.

ESPN 5-on-5: 4 out of the 5 guys still have LBJ as the MVP. LBJ just needs to play like normal and he'll have his MVP.

No, I'm not kidding you. They're the 7th seed in the East with Iggy, and sliding. Without him they'd take a significant hit offensively, and especially defensively. He's LeBron-lite for them, and given their current struggles, they'd certainly be in the cellar without him.

But I'm willing to be convinced otherwise, and since you seem to know so much about basketball, I'd to here your argument for how a team whose best player is either Lou Williams or Jrue Holiday would be anything other than a lottery team.

Any 76'ers fans out there that need a new LOL-worthy sig?

This quote qualifies.

Listen to yourself you really think Iggy is the sole reason the Sixers were a 3rd seeded team at one point of the season? They are/were good because they played good TEAM basketball and were well coached.

Plus using your reasoning I could easily just say the Bulls must be doing awful without Rose since their next best player is Luol Deng... No they're good because of their team ball, stystem, and their coach, not because of a single player. 76ers were the same until their recent struggles. Comparing them to the Bobcats is downright disgraceful to Philly fans.

Impressive that Lebrons performance was against one of the best defenses in the league. Really surprising too, because according to some, hes now pretty much an unathletic 19 ppg scorer who shoots 42 percent. Thats just who he is. I guess last nights game was the biggest anomaly ever.

You praise Durant whenever you can until someone mentions Kobe and then you bash Durant just to prop Kobe up

You can't keep flip flopping from Kobe's nuts to Durant's nuts man. Pick one set of nuts and stick to them.

Just move Westbrook to SG .:. He's not a point guard...
