The reason NBA refs dare to be so blatant

Post#1 » by mmxx » Sat Apr 28, 2012 9:05 pm

Bill Simmons just tweeted this mins ago:

28 FT's to 5. I don't watch rigged NBA games, I'm switching to hockey.

I have only one thing to add to that:

The league is a disgrace. They need to review every referee and punish and suspend accordingly.

The Knicks haven't played well, but my God this is laughably bad. It makes that Orlando vs Cleveland ECF look fantastic.

That Heat Knicks game was unwatchable, I turned it off at halftime.

Where was this crying when the Mavericks weren't called for a single foul in an entire 2nd half of an NBA Finals game, against Lebron Wade and Bosh?

If you are going to read a book about fixes in sports, check out the fix is in. Way better than that lol.

You can argue all you want about the refs, but they aren't winning **** if their star players don't come to play, turn the ball over 24 times, and shoot 35% from the floor. Carmelo and Stoudemire need to play better offensively, 20 points on 5-22 shooting and 6 turnovers isn't going to get it done.

I like Simmons but he's no expert on the game. I laughed while reading his playoff preview where he was listing the reasons people hated Blake but left out the flopping.

Yeah, because free throws should always be even, even when one team turns the ball over every other possession.

This is not at all fair to the Heat. Yes, the reffing was bad, but Jesus, Lebron was unstoppable, and their defense as a whole was unreal. Bosh didn't even need to do much scoring.

Yeah, say what you want about the reffing...but it ain't like the Knicks were winning that game. They couldn't break through the defense at all. Take away 10 of those FT's and Heat still win big.

LOL, it wouldn't be a Heat win without people crying about refs. Protip: when the score's that lopsided, it ain't the refs' fault.

NBA refs are so blatant about favoring certain teams and players because they get away with it.

As long as the NBA continues to get away with it, it will continue. It's been going on for years, and anyone that has watched the NBA long enough has known about it for years.
