How far does OKC get with Melo?

Also, how do you think the talent on his 2008 and 2009 Nuggets teams compares to the current Thunder.

First round?

He immediately clashes with Westbrook; probably not in a public sense, but they wouldn't work all that well together and Melo is way less efficient than Durant, takes way longer to do his thing on offense and really doesn't fit well with that roster.

EDIT: Should point out, that team is constructed well around Durant; it wouldn't be around Melo. Kind of like the Knicks, actually. So it is a context in which Melo's style is poorly suited, so it's less a reflection on him so much as the team. It's like moping about MJ's efficiency in Washington, sort of.

WCF. Mavericks and Lakers were breaking down. I also believe that Melo's "personality flaws" are media created and Westbrook's aren't as extreme as everyone thinks. The only issue I can see is their fit. Replace Westbrook with Chauncey and you have a finals team.

Melo would go insane playing next to Westbrook.

WB would be gone first chance for a return that's not as valuable, James Harden becomes a starter and also clashes with Melo. First round exit.

I think they lose in the second round to the Lakers.

If they had Melo they would have not had Wbrook or Harden, as Melo actually led his team to the playoffs in his first year.

Melo is a poor man's Durant. Durant is one of the best player ever.

Melo is talented enough to get to the finals in Durant's place. He's not as good as Durant but could get there with this team.

That's irrelevant though if he can't fit in with the rest of the team and find out how to be effective playing with Westbrook, which I don't think he would.

You are nothing short of delusional. Melo plays a different style and Durant is not one of the best players ever, call back when he's 30.

Melo has been in the league 9 years. He got knocked out of the first round in 8 out of 9 years. It didn't matter whether he was in Denver or on NYC. If he was in OKC, the results would be the same.

I don't think they beat Dallas. Carmelo might get on well with James Harden but his game would clash with Westbrook's.

Melo and Westbrook on the same team? Good lord. 1st round exit at best.

Melo and Westbrook would work just as well as Westbrook and Durant
