Everybody is looking at the wrong. Each team would only be allowed onto 2/3rds of the court (one for offense, another for defense). Also they would have tigers on chains Gladiator-style to keep the pace of the game up.

I'm not sure why everyone is being so rude to the topic starter. This seems like a pretty realistic evolution for the game of basketball. I would love to see Luke Babbitt draining threes from every corner of that court. The thought of it is getting me a little hot and bothered.
