Even Stave Nash who some have questioned in the past has proven himself to be a top player in NBA history and will go down and has already actually gone down as one of the greatest pg's ever.
So this talk by some people of whatever team has the best record and whatever player is "the best" on that team automatically equals MVP, it doesn't. The MVP award is still reserved for the best of the best in the league.
The Spurs right now are operating more like the 2004 Pistons did, a great team altogether but one that didn't depend wholly on a single player only.
Well said. It's amazing the NBA MVP gets given that it's list of honorees is far more honorable than really any other comparable award in other leagues.
