Family Friendly NBA League Pass: Is this too much to ask?

Post#1 » by sp6r=underrated » Sun Mar 17, 2013 12:51 am

I don't need an HIV Test. I'm not interested in the best of Shyla Styles DVD pack. I don't want tips on how to "meet" child beauty pageant contestants. Finally, I'm not interested in firearms or S&M.

Yet whenever I watch a game on league pass every FREAKING commercial is advertising one of the products or similar products. Why doesn't the NBA have family friendly commercials on league pass? I'm tired of explaining to my kid who Priya Rai is.

Does anyone else have this problem?

you watch games with your kids and have to explain to they what a "bathhouse" is for "open-minded" men.

O.o. League pass has those kinds of advertisements? I wouldn't know since I just look up streams.

I have TV league pass and they just show regional commercials so it's never explicit and on the online/mobile league pass (which I also have) all I ever see is commercials for Monta Ellis/Branden Jennings (no idea why) and sometimes clips about KD's mom cheering him cause family is important or something. Besides those I usually get NBA trivia and "we'll be right back" messages lol

Edit: like this..

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.

I know it's trolling but it's lost on me. Does the NBA league pass have super cheesy family value commercials or something? I never watch the commercials.

How do i get these advertisements? Is there a family friendly option that you selected?

I hope the ads you get isn't based on your google search history. My interest in some of these topics is STRICTLY academic.

League pass international doesn't even have commercials. It's either a blank screen or a pop quiz screen.

Knowing what an HIV test is or watching a few inches of female skin won't traumatize your children.

BTW that Monta-Jennings add is great.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.
