NBA.com box scores will now include video links

NBA will announce tomorrow that box scores with video links will be available to all fans on NBA.com. For example: If LeBron is 10-of-16 from the floor, fans can click on that "16," and see a video reel of all 16 LeBron shots. There will be similar clickable video for assists, turnovers, steals, rebounds, but NOT fouls. Archive will include last season, too.

Wow! NBA.com is really bringing the goods this year for their stats department. How am I supposed to get work done with this feature?

This is just a great addition. I can now watch plenty of Dirk fadeaways and Tony Parker drives. 1st thing I'll watch when available is Hayward's epic 1-17 game.

But seriously from a business standpoint its a no brainer. Think how many more click this feature will get NBA.com. I expect this feature to spread to other sports.

I think so too. That should be a great idea. Like QB successful passes, Pacquiao punches landed/ powershots, etc.

I will be interested to see how this effects ESPN as well. I feel at some point some of these major sports are going to try to cut the cord on ESPN and become self contained entities.
