LaMarcus Cousins. Future hall of famer?
Yeah, yeah. I got the memo. He's got great post moves and plays adequate defense with his great length. Not only that, but he's in elite company, as there are only four players averaging at least 20 points and 10 boards. He's established himself as a great talent in this league.
Barring injury, I think it's safe to say that LaMarcus Cousins is going to have an amazing season. I might be reaching here, but I think he's going to have a Hall of Fame career at the end of it all.
However, a few things remain to be seen. For instance, has he maxed out his potential yet? Will he make an All-NBA team this year? More importantly, can he be a number one option on a championship team? What are your opinions?

Re: LaMarcus Cousins. Number one option?
Honestly, i would take Anthony Davis over LaMarcus Cousins, i mean the mythical, hybrid beast. Anyway, about Cousins... Well, he's better this year, i mean, he scores more efficiently, he still has a long way to go as an impact player. The Kings have some nice young(ish) talent though, maybe they can make a run this year.

Re: LaMarcus Cousins. Number one option?
I'm going to assume the OP meant DeMarcus Cousins since he got the surname right and the first name can be a bit confusing with LaMarcus. Also, DeMarcus is 5 years younger at 23 years old (2 years younger than Durant!).
Yeah, I think he has a bright future. He moves and handles the ball as well as or better than any big in the NBA.
I think the main issue is the Sacramento organization - can they surround him with the right mix of youth and veterans and a competent coach to get them to the playoff? That remains to be seen.

Re: LaMarcus Cousins. Number one option?
LaMarcus Cousins? If that guy is some unholy crossing of LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMarcus Cousins then the MVP is just about guaranteed.
I'm a big Cousins guy. I've been on here preaching his gospel for the last several years now. Most talented offensive big to enter the game since the 90s IMO. And some of his skills are just about unprecedented. I can't think of any 270lb dude who's ever handled like him, and he's just flat nasty in there. He's off the national TV grid at the moment, but anybody who gets to see him play on league pass is in for a bit of a 90s throwback. Far more than Dwight has ever been, Cousins is that dominant center that just turns the entire paint into a giant rugby scrum. He posts up, teams double him, triple him, bodies start crashing to the floor in all directions, and he still scores. He's a beast in the old school meaning of the term.
And so yes, he's absolutely going to lead teams to the playoffs, probably every single year when they actually get that team finally assembled around him. People have been missing on him because I think they have widely missed his character. Cousins was never Derrick Coleman. Never close. He was closer to Charles Barkley than anything. He's immensely over the top competitive. He gets out there and he wants to hurt anything in a different color uniform. Yes, he's been immature, but he's been immature in a way that you could always tame into a great player. You can't make a guy who doesn't have that fire care. But Cousins always had rather too much, and I think once they put in a new coach/system over there saying your ball/team big guy, he seems to not only have calmed down, but be turning into a leader.

Dude if they could team him up with Paul Paul (the Paul George / Chris Paul hybrid) that team would be unstoppable.

I don't know. Prime Kevin Duncan is still untouchable.

Haha, I'm not sure what Harden does better than Lebron, so what traits does this mythical hybrid have from Harden? An obnoxious beard?

I'm just hopin my man Toney Douglas-Roberts can hang on to a spot in this league. To me there's no question he belongs on the same court as Anthony A. Anthony (carmelo/joel anthony davis)

Is this a fusion of LaMarcus Aldridge & DeMarcus Cousins?
