Was going to compare to Melo but then looked at Melo as a rookie and he's significantly leaner

He's still a kid, that's why. He's going to have a rough year in front of him. Milwaukee might be pretty darn good in a couple years if he and giannis develop properly. Kidd gets a bad rap for forcing his way out of bkn, but I think he made the right decision. Lots of young talent on that team.

Yeah Jabari needs to cut some weight. It's not even that close between him and Melo.

FYI Jabari has always looked out of shape.

Shouldn't his metabolism be like a burning furnace at his age and physical activities? Imagine when he hits his 30s. He needs to change his lifestyle.

the polynesian peoples are thick. jabari packed on a ton of weight the season he was injured in high school even though he did play games. i don't think you'll see much change in his body weight. it'll be interesting to see if he does lose weight during the course of the season.

I agree he looks lil chunkier than usual but that could be cause of un ironed shirt and the lighting.
