A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Getting beat on one play...during practice, does not equal being schooled. Plumlee is looking like a solid player, but nonsense hype like this does him no favors.

Lol at Oladipo even being mentioned on that play with his bail out pass.

This is an issue I see with a lot of people, when a better player gets embarrassed they try to downplay that player's embarrassment... Why is that?

Anthony Davis is MUCH better than Mason Plumlee, but Plumlee punked him hard no shame in admitting that.

point is, its not embarrassment. its basketball play.

and the issue is not people downplaying things but overreacting about everything.

yes, it was a nice move by plumlee(its easy to see that), but AD didnt get embarrased.

He did have his coming out party against A.Davis

22 pts
13 rebounds
8/10 shooting (mostly dunks)
2 blocks
3 steals

in 28 minutes in the win.

He was also just called up to practice with the Team USA Today after being with the Select team.

Here's to hoping he can play PF next to Brook this year.

Lopez had his best season ever, and the Nets their best season in a decade, with Evans at PF. Plumlee is much more offensively gifted and smarter than Reggie, so I think it could work. He could thrive off the attention Lopez gets and get garbage buckets. He's also a pretty good passer for someone his size and can play the high post pretty well because of his passing and because he can put the ball on the floor. Defensively, he's quick enough to defend PFs and he's got the height (7'0.5" in shoes predraft) to disrupt. Of course rebounding would be a worry between those two, but they should be big enough to box out opponents well.

Some other notable stats on Plumlee
He led all rookies in PER, FG%, WS and Dunks.
He led all bench players in dunks (#10 overall)
He was not allowed to shoot outside the paint unless it was end of shotclock situations. He took 7 all season
4th in ROY voting
1st team all Rookie Team

It would be so fitting if Miles Plumlee and Robin Lopez were on the same team
Then we can have 2 Plumlee/Lopez frontcourts.

"Schooled" "punked him hard"
Son that was a soft move to be using those words

Anyone care to explain why Plumlee and Oladipo are even there to begin with?

Young, coachable and eager to learn.
I'm sure it doesn't hurt Plumlee played for Coach K either.

OP puts SCHOOLS in all caps and I thought Mason did the Hakeem Dream shake on him or something

All he did was push off Davis with one hand and put the ball behind his back for a dunk. Lock thread please

Time for the Pelican's to trade that overrated scrub (to the Bulls please). And props to the OP for spelling "schools" correctly.

Should've taken MKG, im sure Charlotte would be depressed being stuck with Davis and his unibrow

They wanted more players to fill out the rosters for 5 on 5. They chose guys they wanted. That's pretty much it.

This should more accurately say "Mason Plumlee pulls off a nice move with Davis guarding him". Sheesh, with all the hype OP put into this, that was disappointing. It was actually nice, but because of how he characterized it, the expectations were much higher.
