Did Bruce Bowen deserve a lengthy suspension or ban?

Point Blank. Did Bruce Bowen deserve a LENGTHY suspension, or a ban from the league? By lengthy, I mean Malice in the Palace Ron Artest suspension. Bruce Bowen was notorious for moving under players when they shot, causing them to land awkwardly. This is extremely dangerous and often causes injuries. Bruce kicking Amare's achilles heal while he is in the process of jumping. Also dangerous and with complete disregard for the other player's health.

I'm sure people will bring up the bad boys and the 80's. Those guys would elbow you and body check you and knock you down, but that is different than going for the lower body in a way that can really injure players. Also, this guy played in the 2000's. The league wasn't how it was in the late 80's. The times had changed from the enforcer days.

Jonathon Vilma got a full season suspension after The Saints Bountygate. Bruce Bowen deserved a massive suspension or a ban. There is no room in the league for scum like him. Going for injuries is as low as it gets. He is also owed an ass whooping from Vince Carter.
