Perry Jones is taking a spot from a D-Leaguer

Post#1 » by DrCoach » Thu Oct 30, 2014 2:22 pm

How are you 6'11 athletic and in the League for 3 years and put up a line like this is your chance to shine?

31 mins
3pts
3rebs
0assts
0stls
0blks
1-9fg
1-2ft.

He has to bounce back or OKC has been wasting their time developing him

How dissapointing

I remember reading cavs threads and there was a poster that swore he was the second coming of Jesus. I'd like to hear from him now

If I recall correctly, he fell because he was medically red-flagged.

Perry Jones and Harrison Barnes. Supposed to be battling for the top pick in the draft at one point.

The only medical red-flag Perry Jones got was for a testosterone deficiency.

I was so wrong about Jones. I remember being mad that the Celtics picked Sully instead of him.
I must just totally suck at projection.

I remember there was a guy on the draft board that was a total PJ3 shill. He swore this guy was going to be the shiz.
Step 1: instead of "ass" say "buns." Like "kiss my buns" or "you're a buns-hole."

Perry Jones has the potential to be a lockdown defender, don't expect much offense from him. He couldn't even dominate college despite having that body and athleticism.

I was kind of the same although I would've been happy at the time with Sully/PJ3 instead of Sully/Fab. Actually, I still would prefer Sully/PJ3 to Sully/Fab. Maybe I'm awesome at projections.

PJ3 and Lamb have not improved at all for OKC. They're not adding much to the team, and at this point it's a bit late for them to start showing signs of being real NBA players.

I loved PJ3 coming out of Baylor, was so pissed when the Heat traded out of the spot and didnt take him. I guess this is why I am not an NBA GM
