15 pages? Sixers or not, I'm sure some other topic is more deserving of time on the first page.

This thread should just involve into a Kentucky watch thread

Lee for Kentucky has NFL WR diva syndrome..
He is always asking for the ball, it's quite funny to watch
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

The real question is, could Kentucky beat the Knicks?

Maybe it's just me but it's still somewhat pathetic that Sixers fans feel like gloating just because they proved they can beat Kentucky.

c'mon man how is that pathetic? I would like to see how you'd react if a bunch of people said your favorite team can't beat a college team. Since you're calling all Sixers fans pathetic I'm guessing you and your teams fanbase are all perfect.

It's more like if someone calls you the fattest person ever from the past 50 years, out of hundreds and hundreds of possible people. It would seem fair to respond that you're not even the fattest out of a group of 30 people right now.

Also, that doesn't mean that you're trying to say that you're skinny. It's to point out that you're on the right track, losing weight, and within 5 years your shape could be among the best of out of those 30 people.

It's not gloating about being able to beat Kentucky. It's simply the recognition that the general consensus of how this year's Sixers team would perform was wrong.

Based on your analogy, if the 76ers, Knicks and Kentucky were comparing their weight then the 76ers would be skinnier. Therefore, it makes more sense to compare the Knicks and Kentucky.

The "NBA is much better than college" response is lazy. These are the best college players against a team of NBA scrubs. Kentucky has several guys who could play in the league now, while a number of Philly players could easily be out of it.

Towns, Cauley-Stein, and Johnson, are better as a group than the Sixer bigs. Kentucky also has perimeter guys who could step on an NBA floor against the Sixer perimeter are do a good accounting of themselves.

Pretty clearly Kentucky is capable of it.

In all fairness though, the refs cost them every loss.

18 year olds vs grown men.

It's not complicated. It's really not

These threads pop up every year with the same result.

No, a college team is not going to beat an NBA team.

Knicks roster is not a NBA team

You could have a very talented college squad with a Jordan, Worthy, Perkins in college vs a team of D-League scrubs tanking and the NBA team does not stand a chance.

Worthy, Perkins, Jordan - UNC squad destroys current Knicks.

Stanley Roberts, Shaquille O'Neal, Chris Jackson (Mahmoud Abdul Raouf) LSU team destroys current Knicks squad

I'd bet my life on that game.

Most of these guys on Kentucky aren't going to even make an NBA squad. Kentucky has about 3 or 4 first rounders, maybe, and 2 or 3 guys who might be good role players at the NBA level, and there's no sure thing. Towns might get to the NBA level and flop, I don't think he will, but he could. Even if those guys do pan out, it's going to take them 3 seasons or so before they really start making contributions. The Knicks roster is fully of guys who have been around the NBA for years. They may not be stars, but they have certainly proven they are good enough to stay in the league.

Honestly, you seem to be more taken by the Sixers than most of their fans.
