A greatest C crop no doubt. But none of them are game changers by a big margin. They have excellent roles tho.

JaVale McGee is a key role player? LOL

Anyways, in retrospect, 2008 was one deep draft. Not only did it produce multiple franchise players, it also had the breadth that you rarely see as well.

Most center classes in NBA history have three to four centers who can be used. Some have two elite tier centers and nothing else. There is 8 potential starters and if Tomic comes over which is unlikely. That's 9 starters who would make at the least 6 mil a year. That's unheard of. The only class that could come close is the 2013 NBA center draft class. 10 centers drafted in the 1st round. The book is still out on them.

1992 class was impressive. Shaq and Zo at 1 and 2. Oliver Miller as a late 1st. Sean Rooks, P.J. Brown, Matt Geiger and Popeye Jones as 2nd rounders. Obviously, outside of Shaq and Zo, no decent starters in the mix but still a very strong class. Jones, Geiger and Brown all have started at center at a time in their career.

Call me crazy but im partial to 1992 where shaq & mourning went 1-2. Better than any of the bums in 2008
These are the opinions of one lifelong Spurs fan, nothing more

This next draft with Okafor, Towns and Porzingis could be good.
