Jordan Clarkson is showing off some nice scoring moves against the Wizards, but he doesn't have a point guard bone in his body. He's definitely a shooting guard.

Sure Wiggins is good. but you are cherry picking stats where he compares well to those players. look at rebounds and assists...and while you are at it look at advanced stats. Wiggins looks like he will be a great player, but is a rung below Melo, and few rungs below Durant and Lebron.

I think this is a contributing factor to Wiggins' poor efficiency stats and why it looks like he takes so many tough shots. Many times, he'd come off of a couple of screens and have separation from his defender only for the ball to get to him a full second or two too late (I noticed this also happened to Young and on post-ups for Pekovic). With a healthy Rubio and more experience for guys like Lavine, Wiggins' efficiency should soar.

Also, defensively they had Wiggins guarding Westbrook for stretches of the game. He had trouble staying with him at times (as does any player in the NBA), but he definitely wasn't embarrassed. Pretty impressive for a 19-year-old rookie against one of the toughest covers in the game.

I noticed the same thing about the Wolves ball handlers doing a subpar job at making passes at the right time... Some of it is from Wiggins not always doing a good enough job establishing position due to inexperience and probably needing to gain a little more strength but most of it is the fault of his teammates by just being a second too late or off with their passes.

Rubio should help and I think better floor spacing that Martin may be able to provide at times should help as well.

Wiggins made some mistakes covering Westbrook in the first half and on one play Westbrook was just too quick but I thought Wiggins did a great job in the 2nd half of making life difficult for Westbrook. When Westbrook got the ball down low and missed against Wiggins, I thought he was a bit intimidated and thinking he would get his shot blocked.

Wiggins did the right approach in the 2nd half of defending Westbrook. Give him some space and then just close out on him when he is about to shoot.

Other than Elfrid, it'll be interesting to see how many point guards from this draft actually continue their career as point guards.

I was comparing their scoring and shooting.
If you want to compare other aspects, go for it.
I think Wiggins will be a greater scorer than Durant, LeBron and Melo.
The Twolves don't even pass to him when he's open and he's still delivering.

I didn't trade nothing, but no. In case you can't read I was more than sic of watching young kids playing losing basketball. This cavs team without wigs>the cavs with wig.

Before the 7 game win streak you were watching veterans lose.... LOL but whatever Wiggins is going to be a star don't be a hater lol

It's always like that. Everything changes when the wins start coming. Wiggins is going to be a star and Waiters will be just another example of Cleveland's ineptitude.....

It was hard at times watching Wiggins the first month and a half of the season. He had no confidence in his handle and ability to get to the basket. Instead of putting the ball on the floor and attacking he did that stupid one dribble step back jumper or used a screen and took 2 dribbles and pulled up for a guarded jumper. Now he looks to attack the basket first when he catches the ball on the perimeter. If he doesn't have the angle to get to the basket on the initial catch he's either looking for a pick or he's looking for the next pass and quickly getting rid of the ball. When he receives a pick he's no longer taking a long 2 either unless wide open. Now he's either looking for the drive or looking for the pass. Amazing to see his maturation in the pick-n-roll game so quickly. He has completely eliminated that stupid one dribble step back from his repertoire. When he catches in the mid-range he's either facing up and maybe a jab step and shooting or driving if he gets the angle or passing it back out to reset. Wiggins has mostly figured out that the most efficient areas to score are from the 3 or at the rim. Has done wonders for his game.

Also it's a scary thought but Wiggins gets to the goal with relative ease already in the NBA. He has average handles for a wing (some people think below-average to horrible handles for a wing). If he improves his handles to be just a good ball handler then he could be a scary good scorer in this league because that will lead to more comfortable scoring in the mid-range and more efficient and comfortable scoring at the rim for him.

Noel did a tad of everything 5 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks.

KJ 10 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block.

Jerami Grant 4 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks...

...Also this.

Oh, also Jakarr Sampson, unknown Sixers rookie with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals.

Why isn't smart starting yet? I'd have him over Bradley at this point.

Nurkic has played a grand total of ONE 4th quarter minute the past 3 games..... And that's after having a good first 3 quarters in each game.

Wow dude has 15 and 9 in 26 mins and playing solid defense.... and he rides the bench the whole 4th quarter again.

The funny thing is Denver blew 4th quarter leads in all 3 games (I believe). Blatant tank? Brian Shaw is ruining this kid. With a competent coach, Nurkic could of had multiple 20 and 10 games this season already, IMO

Wasn't he starting for the past few games? From what I remember, he's sucked as a starter.

In hindsight they could just trade Miami pick or other stuff for Mozgov and get PG and back up PF for Waiters. Or play for Bennett's questionable potential for an overpaid decent PF.
Irving-Wiggins-James-Thompson-Mozgov great starting 5 if you ask me.

Both Wiggins and Lavine have all the potential in the world. Wiggins gets all the hype - and rightly so. Kid's a future elite player. But Lavine's got major physical tools, too. He's skinny as a rail, though. Somebody needs to take him to the local drive thru. Stick 'em both on the juice, for all I care. Just bring it on!
