I'm very confident OKC beats Golden State in 6 games.

Not as disappointing as it would be for OKC if they fail to make the playoffs.

thunder fan here. Our team looks locked and loaded for a championship cruise this year. You wont hear any excuses from me, even against an all time stacked all star team like golden state.

OKC has got 41 games left this season and I'm more than confident they will make the playoffs barring another major injury to KD or Russell "I don't like you" Westbrook.

They will be a very dangerous opponent to whatever high-seeded team they face in the first round. I'd say the odds of an upset are pretty damn high. In fact I'll go on record and say they'll probably do it, no matter who they face.

They would probably feel like the Packers felt after the Seattle game.

 I admire how committed you are to this whole Thunder fan act.

Not as disappointing as it typically would be if a top 2 seed lost to a 7th or 8th seed.

The Thunder are no ordinary late seed. Warriors would re-group and go again next season. They're in no rush.

It'll be interesting to see if the top couple of teams start dropping some games late if the Thunder look locked into the 8 seed.

And on the other hand, how disappointing would it be for OKC to go through everything it did this year, squeek into the playoffs, and then have to deal with another offseason of what-ifs?

OKC had a lot higher expectations this summer than the Dubs, and if we head into the playoffs healthy, the rest of the playoffs would be a little smoother if we knocked out OKC right off the bat. I wouldnt say that Dubs are scared of meeting anyone in the playoffs this year, healthy respect of course, but not trying to avoid anyone. Eventually they would always have to face the best anyways, so might as well do it early in the playoffs.

Wouldn't come a shock to me, OKC could have been cruising around the 1-3 top seed if they did not sustain injuries.

While a team this talented will always have expectations, there has been a sharp decline in what people reasonably expect the Thunder to achieve. The injuries in a way have dropped us from title contender through to "can we even make it to the playoffs?" I think this will benefit the team moving forward.

I do agree, but it's always better to face an easy opponent first. A tough challenger can be extremely tiring for everyone on your squad and really affect you moving forwards.

Remember when Dallas lost to Golden State? That bad

The irony would be hilarious if Dallas fell to the 8th seed

There won't be any such thing as an upset in the Western Conference playoffs this year.

Warriors arent in any rush, but this could be the best Team they have for a while..

This offseason Draymond and Harrison are both FA's and are gonna get paid. Iggy Lee and Bogut are all one year older (do any of them expire?). Steph isn't gonna cost a fraction of his true value forever. So rights is on a bargain deal. It seems everything has aligned for GSW (contracts wise) this season.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.
