I always wanted him in Dallas after the 2012 season/Linsanity, but it was only between Houston and NY.

Thread title should be changed to "What team will be the next to hold back Jeremy Lin?"
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

This perception that Lin is a dud is completely wrong.

He's an average NBA point guard. A started on a bad team, but can be a good back up on a good team.

The Cavs would be a good fit.

How are the Cavs a good fit? Lin does not play well without the ball in his hands, and he's never had to play alongside two players as ball dominant as Lebron and Kyrie.

Lin has all the physical tools to be a great player. He is just a dumb person in general.

Doesn't help that he attributes all his successful games to FSM instead of working on his game.

I'll take him on the Clippers, where he'd still be a huge upgrade.
I root for players always, organizations sometimes.

I don't know how I'm ever going to forgive the Clippers' new front office.

He wouldnt playing that much with those 2. He'd take over from Delladova, and do a lot better job in the 8-12 minutes a night they need another ball handler.

Plus, he's nice injury insurance for when Irving gets hurt.

As a Lin fans, I agreed with this in general.

I would a lot of his game and something that stuck me when he doesn't had the ball, he camped too much. Maybe it is by design (told by the coach), who know.

But if I were him, I would run more, which he is full capable doing. Make defense honest and create yourself with open.

Also, playing for coaches who rely on his star player don't help him or anyone in general.

he follows the coach's instructions to a tee. he'll run your exact plays even if the plays are crap. the Rockets and Lakers ran a bunch of plays where they would try to get the ball into isolation player's hands and clear out. which is why he seems to be bad in bad systems but great in great systems. i think the Spurs would be a perfect match for Lin's game

He's done a lot more than you in your "gamer life". He secured a multi-million dollar contract.

Why are you dissing Jeremy Lin? It doesn't help that you believe we're all just animals trying to survive on the streets.

I wouldn't say he's a dumb person, he's just mentally weak. He needs an enabler as a coach. If he sees even an ounce of doubt from his coach, he just hide inside of a shell. He's still good as a spark plug/6th man on the bench currently.

And I find it funny that some of the Lakers (and Rockets) fans are giving him **** and act like he doesn't belong in the league with a TS% of 55 and a RAPM about even.

Wolves would be good fit. Lin is a good change of pace from Rubio. Bench might look like Lin/LaVine(or Kmart)/Shabazz/KG(or Payne)/Pek

Subbing in a non-shooter for Rubio isn't really a change of pace.

Cavs are in desperate need of a backup point guard.
