Who else loves Quin Snyder
A real coach.
He's not better than guys like Pop, but I love his coaching style , especially with young guys...hes what I always thought a coach should be.
Utah fans have to be loving this guy.

Looks like he could be one of the many greats to come from the "Mike Budenholzer Coaching Tree"

U mean the Mike Brown coaching tree, we had him before you.

Brady to LBJ: Psst...hey, man you want these deflated basketballs?

Agreed, we need more coaches with philosophy degrees.
If he were to start coaching in Sacramento, he could be a philosopher King

It's such a nice change from Ty Corbin.
He's done everything this year I had hoped Corbin would do with last year's team: experiment with different lineups, develop young players, prioritize defense and lay the foundation for long term success.

Also learned from Larry Brown, Coach K, Messina and Doug Collins. This guy was blessed in his assistant coach experience. He was named rookie coach of the year in the NCAA when he coached Missouri to the Elite Eight, furthest Missouri has ever made it in the tournament. Jazz fans are VERY happy to have him.

Talk about narrative.

That was before he started doing coke, banging player's girlfriends, violating NCAA rules and basically wrecking Missouri's program. Not a lot of Missouri fans were sad to see him go, apparently.
Snyder's is a redemption story as much as anything else.

Goddamnit, you beat me to it.

On Harden being MVP of this season ( I don't even like Harden much)

Re: Who else loves Quin Snyder
I think Quin Snyder has done a great job as well with such a young team.
But most impressively his given minutes to the Jazz future in Gobert, Exum, Trey Burke, Hood. That aspect must be applauded for long term sucess.
And he is not afraid to change lineups to make things work.
I think Exum in the starting lineup for his defensive length and chemistry with Gobert has done wonders and he has stuck with this.
Trey Burke is embracing the sixth man role.
I think a lot of people a forgetting about the the leadership responsibility he instils in his leaders Gordon Hayward and Derick Favors, keeping them accountable.
Last year that was non existent.

He looks like he's from the 1800s
Also didn't he stare at his players in a time out and it worked? I mean hey, they are playing well and it'll probably carry on to next year.

The difference from last year to now is night and day.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Re: Who else loves Quin Snyder
He is an incredibly intelligent man with phenomenal hair and a law degree.
Duke bias, but he is a very, very good X's and O's coach.
Thrilled he stopped snorting coke. Was a rumor, but a legit rumor at that.

After the Kanter trade, there was an OKC fan claiming Snyder was a terrible coach, lol. My guess is he'll be in the running for COY next year.
