Some people need to re-evaluate what "Robbed" means.

Well deserved for Lou Will.
There's also a tendency to ignore defense - which is why the award was between Lou Williams and Isiah Thomas (and Jamal Crawford has won several times). If voters cared about overall offense + defense impact Iggy would have been a favorite.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to say this whole time.
Sure, you might believe IT deserved it, but robbed implies it was a massive mistake. Lou Williams had a great year on a team with a better record. It's not INSANE that he won it.

Re: Lou Williams named 6th man of the year
If IT had this impact all year he would have won. But Lou cemented his reputation from the beginning of the year and kept winning games until the very end.
There were at least 4 to 5 games, maybe more, the Raptors don't win without Lou.
These awards really are about full year peformance. Lots of guys go on runs at certain parts of the year, you can't give an award on that basis.
If IT had been in the running from his Phoenix performance he would have done better, but his repuatation was actually quite low then if I recall.

Lou Williams is on the Raptors buddy.
He meant 'addition by subtraction'.

He shows you can still be the same player even after an injury like he had

Yea IT is the better player but Lou was putting up #'s all year.
One of the only consistent Raptors.
IT had better numbers on the year. He put up 15 ppg on Phoenix, same as Lou. Then he scored 19 after the Boston trade.
People are acting like IT wasn't already playing at least as well as Lou before the trade. The way he played in Boston is just icing.

In before everyone says Iguodala got robbed...
Oh wait, no one is bringing him up at all. Okay. Not like he's a top 5 player on the best team in the league taking the 6th man role specifically to strengthen the bench, aka the role which makes the 6MOY award make sense as something worth honoring. Much better to give it to "the guy on the bench who does nothing but shoot the ball" I suppose.

Its an award for SG's that are too short to start. Add the fact that he's not a scorer and Iggy was never gonna win.

Iguodala said he's glad Williams won because he felt he had a bad year.

I dont know Lou lost alot of games because of his chucking or atleast helped lose alot of games. He also takes bad shots all the time

He admitted he made a mistake still thinking Lou was on the Hawks.
