Rest up Steve

he has had a terrible summer due to his back. Not quite the summer he expected after winning the title.

Bear Down Luke! Love it. Two Arizona guys.

Funny because in college Iguodala really looked up to Luke as a mentor.
I made sure to say 'Bear Down Arizona!' at the end of our broadcast. That was for Wildcat Nation. -NBC Anchor Brian Williams

I think Luke Walton will eventually become a good NBA head coach.

I gained a lot of respect for Luke during the 2009 season when I was a Laker fan and Luke asked Phil to start Ariza over him because Ariza was playing better. It was a wise choice and the team really took off after that change. Compared to Derek Fisher who actually refused to give up his starting position when Phil asked him, Luke is someone who will put the team first

I have to point out how funny it is that you were a Laker fan in 2009 and are a Cavs fan and a Patriots fan currently.

Legitimate question, not calling you out or anything, but how do you "refuse" to give up your starting position? Do you just walk out with the starters at the beginning of the game anyway?

Kerr truly is Phil's disciple.

Expect he'll soon have his own enormous throne on the sidelines.

Edit: I'm not the first to say this I see. http://sportsnaut.com/2015/09/steve-kerr-probably-need-to-be-part-of-a-few-more-titles-to-sit-in-throne-like-phil-jackson/

You know you reach a certain age and then everything hurts after doing certain things, I never had back pain until last year. It is stupid, when you are 20 you have fall off the a roof putting Christmas lights and get up and like nothing happens. Do that when you are 30/40/50 and it like a quality of life event.

Which Lakers fan would have ever thought Luke Walton would be a coach (interim, or not) of a championship team?

While Luke was not that great of an athlete, he makes it up for having a very high basketball IQ. So its really not a surprise seeing him coach one day.

According to your logic, Tim Duncan doesn't deserve any respect.
