Why Are the OKC Thunder Turning to Thuggery Against the Depleted Dallas Mavericks?

Post#1 » by WildArkieBoy65 » Sun Apr 24, 2016 3:59 am

Elbows too numerous to mention in this 3-6 series. OKC would be clear favorites even if Dallas were healthy, but the Mavs are missing two starters. What is the mindset of OKC that would bring this on? Several t's tonight on OKC and an ejection of wonderboy Durant for a flagrant 2 on a Dallas rookie.

Because they won't shut up ....I can understand it ...all the crying and complaining ...trying to bring Okc down to their level since they know they can't compete on the court ...TBH I'll be glad once this series is over and the Mavs get sent packing

OKC is full of children. It's as simple as that.

Yeah, lets not mention the elbow from charlie v, The punch from Felton. The Mejri debacle with Morrow on the sidelines. The flopping. The dance routine interuption. Dallas started this and then whine about it when they can't match the physicality. Get out of the kitchen if you can't take the heat.

What? OKC is supposed to be one of the elite teams in this league and they start turning games into wrestling matches cause the Mavs are complaining about calls.....to the officials??? Yeah, TOTALLY understandable. If they want to be taken seriously, they need to all stop doing that crap, especially if the Mavericks are just SO beneath them like the people in here seem to think.

Looks like he was going for the block anticipating him going up with the ball and then Anderson turned at the same time and was just incidental contact.

If Anderson's head was the ball, this would be true.

Some coincidence imo, but whatever. Somehow this is the most dramatic series lol

Possibly the last playoff series win with Durant and Westbrook together in Oklahoma City.

I think he was just trying to time the block, expecting the ball to be there instead, but he pump-faked and Durant was already following through his motion.

Looking at the replay more, I guess so but still a really dumb decision. Went for the ball going right up above Anderson's head I guess for the block, instead of just getting him on the arm.

The Mejri/Morrow sideline thing was 99% Morrow.

I believe Durant that he wasn't trying to hurt him. It really does just look like awfully bad timing/placement in trying to swipe at the ball. I don't disagree with the punishment but I don't believe Durant intentionally hit him in the head.

Yeah that replay angle makes it a look unintentional. He thought Anderson was going straight up with the ball, didn't expect him to whip the ball to the side and try to dish to Lee down the lane. Just a sports thing, fortunately Anderson was OK. I would expect the league will not suspend him for it, even though throwing him out was understandable given that it's often more dangerous to leave guys in the game who then have a target on their backs.

I guess we are just gonna act like stealing the ball out of Morrows hands isn't disrespectful,

What else do you expect from a paper tiger team, with two manufactured "stars" who will never win rings? They can't even guard 38 year-old Dirk without double-teaming and hard trapping him. Pathetic frauds will lose in 5 to SA.
