Bigger injury risk: Bledsoe, Beal or AD? w/ Poll

Post#1 » by Agnostifarian » Wed Jun 1, 2016 2:36 pm

Which player will miss the most games due to injury going forward?
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

I feel like Bledsoe and Davis had atleast the chance to go on stretches of "brilliance". I feel like Beal never got the chance to get it going for a long stretch (maybe in the playoffs a few years ago).

Man, real tough poll, Bledsoe barely has any knees left to injure, AD sadly to me seems that his body just cant a take 82 game season (imo he picks up an oddly large amount of upper body injuries), and beal legs cant catch a break. Id have to say:

1)Bledsoe (no way hes able to play a full season anymore)
2)AD, likely will get hurt again, miss somewhere in the 10-20 game range
3)Beal, bad history but his luck has to change at some point right

That being said, I hope all these guys are healthy and play 82 games, the league would be better for it.

I didn't like hearing that Beal may have minute restrictions the rest of his career. Not a good sign. I'll vote Beal.

AD, he's a walking injury bug.

In Beal's case, are stress reactions something that stops over time or will he have that the rest of his career? No doctor obviously but if his bones aren't that strong, there's stuff that can take care of that, I'm sure.

Unlike the other three players, MKG really hasn't distinguished himself with his play when he has been healthy.

Not to mention they're about to pay him $120 million. That's going to be an albatross from the minute he signs it

I wonder what John Wall thinks about that? I'm sure he'd rather be maxed out with a guy who can play a full season.

Beal. He's the only one out of all of them that said he would have to be on minute restrictions for the rest of his career. A trainer or coach didn't say this, Beal did. Add in he's going to get the max, Beal is easily the choice

That would make the poll far less difficult.

Probably AD but Bledsoe isn't far behind.

Beal isn't that big of a risk in that even if he stayed healthy and played all the games he'd still be a non-impact player.
