Well yes, but there are other places the patter is used around Charlotte. Off the top of my head one of the rides at Carowinds hear Charlotte uses a similar patter in its theming.

The Hornet is used in a lot of different symbols around the area.Late in the Revolution, British General Cornwallis encountered sharpshooting Patriots at the 1780 Battle of Charlotte and Battle of Kings Mountain nearby. A “hornet’s nest of rebellion,” he called Charlotte. Cornwallis departed, soon to be defeated by General George Washington at Yorktown, ending the War.
