Kris Dunn has looked about as sloppy as I expected going into preseason. A lot of people overlooked his sub-par ball-handling, high turnover rate, and bad shooting for some reason and were dubbing him as "NBA ready". I expect him to be a solid rookie, but the notion that he would compete with Ricky Rubio to obtain the starting role this season was (and still is) laughable at this point, it is going to be a process.

People need to watch for Taurean Prince, there is some competitiveness about him and poise that you see from great players.
He is athletic, fearless going to the rim, good on D and can shoot the 3, wha's not to like?

Yeah he's going to be a solid player that I think is going to be around in the league for a while, very nice pick from ATL.

Kay Felder doesn't look so good on the advanced preseason stats.. does that correlate to regular season ?

Jamal Murray seems awesome. If Harris hurt for a while? Would love to see Murray get minutes as the first guard of the bench

Im with you on this. It seemed like a lot of people were ready to pencil him in as the starter over Rubio and I never got why. I cant think of a single area that Dunn is superior to Rubio except athleticism. Rubio is the better ball handler, far superior passer, superior defender and I think Rubio is even the better shooter. I think a lot of people just didnt know how bad of a shooter Dunn really was and how inconsistent his handle is.

Yeah Jamal Murray has been impressive. It doesn't look like his lack of raw athleticism is going to limit him at all. He can score in a lot of different ways, has a very smooth and quick shot release, and he's oozing with confidence. His ball handling and PG skills already look vastly improved over what we saw in summer league too.

It's funny in all of the Buddy vs Murray discussions, it's always had to be all or nothing. Like one has to suck. From what I have seen, I have been really really impressed with both Buddy and Murray and think they will both be very good. Murray has been way more aggressive and capable looking on defense than I ever thought he would be.

I had to look up how old he is because he's so polished. Was expecting to see someone 21 or 22 years old. Kid's only 19! Really impressed with his fundamentals. He already seems comfortable finishing with his off-hand. Nice player for the Nuggets. I don't see him as a PG but rather a Grant Hill type SG (the older version). If this is his floor then he has a bright future ahead of him.

You forgot the most impressive thing about those stats, neither of them played in the first half :o

Very impressive!!! All of them have been: Baker, Randle, and Plumlee too! :D

Going to be fun on offense when we have those two out there with KP. Not so fun in defense with KP having to cover for both

Ellenson looks like he's lost significant weight... like, even since Summer League. It'll take longer to add the muscle he needs, but the kid can obviously shoot.
