The block was filthy but the best part of the video is that while he's there celebrating the block, the opponents get an easy score from the rebound hehe.

Might explain why someone that talented never stuck and is now in Turkey blocking Joey Dorsey.

If you could sum up why Anthony Randolph didn't make it in the league with one play, it would be this one.

Dorsey still ended up with a dunk, so not too embarrassing.

Did you see his dunk the other week? Literally VC on Weiss quality. At best he's entertaining

He's now actually playing for Real Madrid.
He's having a heck of a season and living in an amazing city. He isn't doing too bad IMO, I would much rather do that than ride the bench in the NBA.

The game was in Turkey though, wasn't it? Doesn't really matter I guess.
Europe has provided a fantastic life and career for lots of American basketball players. I think its great. But I doubt too many Americans over there prefer it to being on an NBA roster. Unless they are just winding down their careers and getting a bigger paycheck.

WTF are you doing Randolph??
Why would you walk off the court and stare at the crowd while celebrating when the play is still going on??
It's frustrating that Anthony Randolph could have had superstar potential if only his basketball IQ wasn't so low.

Yeah, the fact Dorsey still scored kinda ruins it. AR is coming along in Euroleague still tho, had one of the better games in his Euroleague career yesterday.
Let me wh0re a little bit and post my own youtube video, I post Euroleague player highlights sometimes. Pardon for poor quality, my other videos usually have better q. I am not a big fan of Randolph, but he is capable of good bursts like that.

Typical Randolph, instead of following the ball, he starts to celebrate himself. Beastly block of course, but come on, the play is not over.

Probably. I didn't really pay that much attention. Plus Turkey is a funnier word.

Basically, yeah. The guy just didn't "get it" and that's why he's out of the NBA. He DEMANDED playing time as a rookie, even though he had no idea how to play the NBA game. Changed agents who asked for a trade if he didn't start. Had attitude and entitlement problems from his first day in the NBA to his last.
He didn't understand making the simple plays. Always concentrated on making the highlight play. Also punched some undrafted rookie during or right before training camp. Even Stephen Jackson shook his head when he saw that and said that wasn't cool.
Terrible me first attitude. No idea how to play 5 on 5 basketball. Thinks the game consists of going one on one like you're playing at the Y. Waste of talent, was kind of injury prone and not really a nice guy, either. Maybe he's matured some but it doesn't sound like any NBA team even called during the offseason.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?
Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

The point of celebrating defensive plays is when they often result in a defensive stop. Which makes it even more comical when the act of celebrating leads to an easy bucket. Smh
