Looks like he's met the quality of a league commensurate with the quality of his talents.

For sure! They'll end up building a statue of him him right next to Marbury's!

Seriously tho, a team like the 76'ers or even the Cavs could use him in spot minutes to help spread the floor. They have enough team defense to cover Jimmer's lack thereof. Heck, even the Clippers who are down a guard right now.

Jimmer Freddette are tearing chinese league since his debut, amazing how he did it with average 37++ ppg, pull out ridiculous jumper and singlehandedly take shanghai sharks to top contender.

there is account on youtube dedicated to him show all his CBA highlights and it's been tremendous crazy, more than what marbury ever did in those league in his first stint in league. if he can take shanghai sharks to 'promise' land, no doubt people will build statue for him outside yuanshen stadium where shanghai sharks play, last time they have championship banner was during yao ming still playing for them around early 2000

actually i'm happy for him after all ups and downs in NBA, he finally redeemed himself in CBA and still has a shot if he want to return to NBA in near future.

*i think it's time to bump his thread up too LOL*

A lot of teams could use him if he decides to accept that role.

Except he thinks he is entitled to shoot every play. It's why he never stuck as a NBA role guy.

Joe Ingles and Gordon Hayward were consistently called bad defenders also. That is, until several years of numerical data started making fools of the people who were saying it. Jimmer is an atrocious rim defender. Bad bad bad. The numbers don't lie.

But...

By the 2014-15 season Jimmer was statistically an average defensive player overall and a plus perimeter defender. Opponents averaged 44.6% shooting overall against him. Opponents averaged 26% from three point range against Jimmer. He was a plus defender in 3 pt. %. Shots greater than 15 feet opponents averaged 29.5% shooting.

Jimmer is a Chinese dragon. He is making MILLION$$$. Why come back here to ride the bench and be derided socially in places like this when he can be a mega-superstar in one of the most populous countries in the world? Jimmer is set for life.

He should stay the course.

I have to admit...if the clicking on the title was way to generate revenue, you'd get some pretty nice lol. Clickbait at it's finest....

Good for Jimmer!

I would like to see him have the green light in the NBA as a 1st option. It would either be amazing or laughably bad, both would be fun

It's not a preference in this case. Jimmer had many opportunities to make it in the NBA and failed. He didn't make this decision, the Big Pond made it for him.

Clippers don't need any extra guards. Even down a guard the Clippers still have JJ Redick, Austin Rivers, Raymond Felton and Jamal Crawford, and even Alan Anderson and Wesley Johnson can play SG if needed, so yea, no need for the Clippers.

it sounded more like he couldn't adjust his game offensively to be an efficient role player. there's been defensively-lacking undersized guards who can shoot lights out and carved out a niche in nba. jimmer didnt want it like that. might not even be a wrong decision for him.

That's all fine and good but he was ultimately cut by multiple teams. The decision of playing in the NBA was longer his to make.
