If Steve Kerr were to step down, who would be a good new coach for the Warriors?

I said last year they messed up letting Luke go. Everyone could see this coming a mile away. I think Luke is a better coach anyway when it comes to adjustments on the fly.

Someone that runs the same stuff as Kerr and they should be fine. If anyone tries to change their current style they would be idiots

Genius. San Francisco progressive + deflates the blowback from haters of super team, while increasing profile of team even more.

Randy Wittman is the obvious answer.

I think what it shows is that the players and coaches understand how to execute Kerr's concepts. Warriors pre-Kerr moved the ball a lot less.

Brad Stevens contract is up.
If Kerr leaves Ron Adams might retire. But if Stevens gets hired Adams may stay a bit longer.

Wrong, he signed a six year deal in 2013 and was extended for an additional three years in early 2016. He'll be a coaching free agent in the summer of 2022. He's the headcoach of the next Celtics title team, whenever that may be. He's rock solid and isn't going anywhere.
Boston Celtics depth chart:

Guards: Holiday, White, Pritchard
Wings: Tatum, Brown, Hauser, Brissett
Bigs: Porzingis, Horford

I'd like Blatt. Not for revenge or anything else i'd seen here. I'd watched Euroleague in the past, i've seen him coach and he did amazing things here in Europe with the talent that he had. In an organization and culture like the dubs are trying to establish, where he will be supported by FO and by the players i think he will do a good job. I think is unfair how he is seen as incompetent by a part of the people here and he deserves a second chance. hell, i would like him as an assistant even if Kerr stays, i'd be more comfortable with him as a back-up .

And if this is not an option, just take Ettore Messina :P

Don't like Mike Brown on the helm, sorry, don't trust him. i agree the team somehow coach by itself, but only because kerr is around.

As long as Kerr stays on in the front office and Ron Adams stays, we will be fine. I agree that they might just promote Jarron Collins, but I don't care for former big men being coaches. I think guards make better NBA coaches.

I'd like to take another swing for the fences like we did with Kerr, and hire Steve Nash if he's up for it.

After careful consideration, we won't be needing your coach hiring consultancy services.
