It's so crazy how much the OP overrates the player SGA currently is. Maybe in the future he will be as good as PG but right now it's not even close.

Clippers would of used Gallo+Picks to get another superstar. So it would be something like Kawhi, superstar #2, SGA.

What team would trade their superstar for Gallo and high draft picks ?lol

Shai was your best asset. You wouldve had to throw him in any deal for a star.

Mmmm....no, come on, let's settle down Mike Smith.

I love SGA, but even forgetting the HUGE factor that there's no Kawhi without PG, if the teams switched the players from the trade, Clippers would not be a strong contender. OKC would actually get a good bump even with George having bad games here and there. George has had some poor performances against some top teams, I'm not going to deny that, he's been more meh than good against those teams, but he's still FAR superior to SGA on both ends on the average night

It's SGA, Gallo and 7 picks

The Clippers made their bed*, now they have to sleep in it.

* Clippers bed is dressed with silk sheets and Eiderdown bedding.

7 picks do nothing this season and with Leonard you need to maximize the present. The Clippers have plenty of PG's so it's a wash there. I'll take George in the playoffs over Gallo who can't guard a soul.

SGA only looks great to several people because he's performing in a non spotlight situation and producing nicely. His limitations and weakness' haven't been exposed the same way that a Paul George has.

Put him on the Clippers right now with Kawhi and he'd be getting a lot more exposure and his weakness' would be more on display. Not to mention he's never been to the playoffs. Clippers wouldn't go anywhere with SGA as a key piece.

Not sure what the point of this thread is in the end. Kawhi wouldn't even be on the team without PG. He'd be a Laker instead.

Dude please be right. I'd be ECSTATIC if you end up being right. Sadly I don't see it coming true.

Are you being serious? Or just acting like a drama queen?

Why the green font?

It’s public knowledge now and not hearsay that PG was the ultimate cost for him to sign with them.

Without PG Kawhi would of been on the Lakers with Lebron and AD ready to go 74-8 this season.

A double barrelled surname will get you nothing in this league.

Well, good points except for that, he has been to the playoffs, and he did quite well in his first playoffs as a rookie, 14/3/3 in 29 mpg and shot 47/50/85 (59.6% TS) vs the Warriors last season. The playoffs actually was a good highlight of how good a scorer he was, which many people were not very aware of last season, which is why it was a big surprise for almost everyone that his scoring got such a boost this season, but for the Clippers fans who were paying attention, it shouldn't have been surprising.

Yep.

Early in the season he was saying Kawhi was overrated before he went on an offensive explosion.
