Wish the Lakers kept Luke Walton.

No, the bit about Darvin Ham looking African American… but you’d never heard of him.

"Darvin Ham looks African-American", So I'm assuming he is.
"but I'd never heard of him before", I'd never heard of him before he was Lakers head coach, and I still know nothing about him, since I never read media or social media about the Lakers.

Could've just looked him up... Ex player, just won a championship as Budenholzer's lead assistant after coaching under him going back to ATL.

It’s Silas by a country mile.

I personally think his end of game rotations have led to some tough losses.

There's been times when he's left Vanderbilt and Beasley on the bench in favor of Troy Brown and Rui or Reeves (ex: vs the Knicks) when it's been clear they needed a more physical or defensive presence that may have changed the outcome.

So to me it's his lack of adjusting to momentum shifts.

But the bigger problem is physicality. Gabriel tries but he is just too light in the ass to guard post guys, should've G Leagued him and brought back Dwight or a bigger body guy as the 3rd big behind Bamba.

I honestly don't see anything special in his coaching... But he isn't really obviously screwing up either... The screw ups this season have been on the players mostly...
The flip side was Vogel... He showed some actual brilliance at times, but he also did some things that just seemed ego related... That said he got us a championship, and they still kept him on an extremely short leash. I think he deserves to still be coaching the Lakers, honestly.
But Ham isn't the worst...

I find good/bad coaches are subjective and can be based on the situation they are in. I mean, David Blatt is a highly successful coach in Europe, he goes to the Cavs for 1 year to coach LeBron, and suddenly they said he was terrible. He goes back to Europe and is successful again. Tyronn Lue is a good coach, and now a bad one. Thibs was a good coach, then a bad one, now a good one again. Many more examples. Coaching is more then X's and O's, perception of Coaches can change, from the Team and Players they have.

Chauncey Billups has given up 17 or 18 losses where the Blazers were leading by double digits this year. Lillard said the reason the Blazers lose those is they don’t know what to do when other teams make their halftime adjustments.

Billups is very clearly the worst. Doesn’t even know the fundamentals of in game adjustments.

nah, if Darvin Ham was coaching the Celtics this year they'd call him COTY like Udoka

But anyways, here is a list of coaches I find worse:

Stephen Silas
Steve Clifford
Wes Unseld Jr.
Billy Donovan (yes idgaf, the Bulls being worse than the Wizards is inexcusable)
JB Bickerstaff (he will get exposed in the playoffs despite having so much talent)
Jacques Vaughn (grossly overrated)
Chauncey Billups

and then I would say Darvin is probably better than some well respected or "good" coaches this year but I don't wanna deal with the mad fanboys.

No lol. They have one of the best records and defensive rating since the trade deadline. The team got better, but not good enough to win without either James or Davis on the court. As soon as they said Davis was pain free and not playing I knew they'd lose.

Darvin Ham looks African-American but I'd never heard of him before, whereas someone famous and with experience like Patrick Ewing never gets a job....

Stephen A is racist all he wants is black coaches, even black executives in the NBA. If teams hire white he shames them for it. Racist.

Its because most of the NBA players are black, and most of the coaches are ex-players, so there should be a lot of black coaches....

I try not to google if I can avoid it, because I already google a lot, and its refreshing not to know something anyway.

Dwane Casey enters the chat.

"So, whatcha talking about in here?"

(372 games with Detroit .323%)

A ham sandwich has a larger playbook then Casey.

Resting AD instead of giving him the second half off was a huge mistake against the ‘easier than most to be beat Rockets’

Ridiculous when it’s this close. The #6 is potentially reachable and would be a great series with the Kings

I feel like people denying this don't actually watch the Lakers play. Ham is a buffoon, he loved to play Westbrook Schroder and Beverley together.
