Watch his move on Kessler before halftime, Kessler had no chance despite being a good defensve center.

Amen looked like a future super star last night. His athleticism stands out, and what he does in transition is already elite. The dude makes it look easy when hes in the air. His handle is already better than guys like Tatum coming into the league, and is the definition of a player that the ball always finds itself to.

Obviously there is a huge size difference, but Amen is starting to look like a 19 year old LeBron out there

The trouble is both he and his brother cannot shoot. They can do everything except that, in a league where shooting is probably the most important skill. Remains to be seen if they can develop the shot that lets them get to that next level.

Discount Abe Lincoln had a terrible game yesterday without having to feed off SGA. Shot terribly and fouled out in 18 mins. He's not on the same level as Wemby despite Wembys own struggles off late.

Meh, bad games happen, especially to rookies. And even Jdub struggled despite a good looking stat line, it just shows the impact of SGA and having a top 2 guard in the league. And to be fair to Chet, refs were calling everything (and to be fair to the refs they were calling everything on both sides). He should probably have adapted to avoid fouling out but it's standard struggle for a rookie. Seeing people on socials wondering if he's still #2 ROY after a couple of bad games is laughable.

You didn't hear? They are actually only taking the worst games from each player and that's the only way you're allowed to evaluate the rookies. You have to throw out the other 70+ games. It was in the new CBA.

That's why I like the LeBron comp, and think it's fitting. First CLE LeBron was all about speed and power. Daring him to beat you from the midrange and 3 was essentially how Boston and ORL had bested him. Devling deeper into the stats you see when LeBron added that what is now his patented midrange/high post game with MIA in 2010, his shooting numbers skyrocket, and he never looked back.LeBrn shot in the low 30% for most of his early career from 10-16 feet, but once he got that number up to 45%, combined with his ability to get to the basket was obviously why he won MVP's those years.

It took LeBron 2 contracts to figure it out. Westbrook still hasn't figured it out yet. I'm thinking the Thompson brothers fall somewhere in between, and it will be interesting to see what type of player that is.

I think with their work ethic they'll develop the shot, all they need to do is get to a respectable level.

Wemby with 40 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block tonight against the Knicks.

He is now averaging 21 points and 10.5 rebounds!

Oh hey Victor has finally overtaken the vote of the Chet-stans. Still 158 votes of shame.

Thge race is now over even if Wemby drops 10/5 for 10 games straight.

Dude is just nasty, built for the bright lights. Those clutch free throws, never any worry.

Another good night by Cason Wallace in a big win over Phoenix. He plays very good disciplined defense and is efficient offensively.
